Made to order

Design Your Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry

Almost every Hawaiian heirloom piece we make is cut after it is ordered — which means yours is built to your choices, not picked off a shelf. Work down the page and the price updates as you go.

What are we making?
Metal

14K is what we make most heirloom work in. 18K, and 10K, 22K, silver or platinum, are made to order through an inquiry.

Width and profile

Barrel curves across the face and sits softer on the wrist. Flat is squared and carries wide engraving best — and it is the only profile above 20 mm.

How thick the gold is. Heavier wears longer and costs more, because it is more gold. Medium is our standard.

Drawn to scale against a US quarter.

Background:

You do not choose this one — it follows the lettering, and it is what makes the letters read.

Border

Cut-out is the one people ask about: the engraver cuts the design right to the edge, then carves away along it so the pattern breaks the outline.

Inside engraving

We read what you have written and will tell you if it needs shortening. ʻOkina and kahakō are engraved exactly as you type them — use the buttons above if your keyboard has none.

Anything else

Optional, and read by us rather than engraved — an occasion, a date you need it by, or a photo you will send over.
